Whether you’re a NASCAR fan, you’ll love Daytona Beach. If you’re a wildlife lover, you’ll want to be sure to check out Blue Spring State Park from November to March. This is one of the largest springs on the St. Johns River. Blue Spring has a crystal clear water temperature of 73 degrees and is a designated Manatee Refuge, where West Indian Manatees gather in winter. Here you can enjoy seasonal swimming, snorkeling, canoe rentals, scuba diving, narrated river cruises, kayak tours, walking trails, and other amenities. Visit the park early in the day to avoid long lines and waiting.
