Winter Events in Miami, FL

Here are a few don’t-miss events in and around Miami, FL, to keep you busy this winter.

Zoo Lights

Starting Thanksgiving week, Zoo Miami transforms into a sparkling winter wonderland after dark. During Zoo Lights, you can stroll along the pathways, lined with trees lit by more than one million lights. You’ll also find a massive Christmas tree, arts and crafts activities, a Santa-themed boat ride, hot cocoa, and cookies. Check out their special themed nights so you can dress up for added fun. For the adults, make sure to attend the special Sip and Stroll events, with a DJ and adult beverages for the 21 and over crowd.

Santa’s Enchanted Forest

Let’s face it: Santa isn’t just for kids; your inner child will delight at the sparkling lights and holiday-themed rides of Santa’s Enchanted Forest. From November through January, this magical theme park comes to life with more than 100 rides, shows, and games for the whole family to enjoy. Explore more than 40 acres of fun with a selection of rides from kid-friendly to thrilling.

Winterland at the Farm

When the weather cools, the animals come out to play at Pinto’s Farm in the Miami-Redlands area. This family favorite runs on December weekends. Pack up the little ones and enjoy some hot chocolate, exciting rides, and visits with Santa. Take time to stroll through the twinkling lights of the illuminated forest. Favorite holiday characters like Nix the Snowman and Sprinkle the Gingerbread Cookie will be on site, making for adorable photo opportunities at this annual event.

Winter Festival at The Berry Farm

From November through January, The Berry Farm gets into the holiday spirit. The whole family will enjoy hayrides, an obstacle course, a bounce house, and the shaded lumber playground. You will want to attend the special seasonal treats and evening concerts. And speaking of nighttime, the farm glows with thousands of holiday lights after dark.

Night Garden at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden

When the days grow shorter, head to Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden. After dark, this unique acreage turns into a sparkling wonderland filled with a rainbow of illuminated flowers and unique sculptures. All ages will love the holograms, musical programs, and otherworldly light shows. The Night Garden runs from November through early January.
